Meet Jay Cox: Principal Snacker
Jay Cox’s career in marketing began in Toronto in the late 1990s, where he cut his teeth at leading advertising agencies like J. Walter Thompson, Publicis, and Cossette. From there, he moved client-side to Rogers Communications, where he helped lead a company-wide rebrand and launched Rogers’ first NHL streaming app — experiences that cemented his ability to combine strategy with execution at scale.
After contributing to Toronto startups and later honing his expertise in creative brand building for small and medium sized businesses at CM2 Media, Jason relocated to Woodstock, Ontario. While getting to know Woodstock and nearby cities like London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Brantford, and Hamilton, Jay recognized an opportunity: local businesses were missing access to the kind of strategic marketing expertise that larger brands take for granted. This realization became the spark — the aha moment — that inspired the creation of SNACK Digital.
